My little boy and I visited the garden centre on Friday with our friends (another parent and child) for breakfast with Santa. We all had a lovely time and the experience was a great one. All the team we met were lovely- the main organiser was charming (and looked after everyone so well) and Father Christmas and his smiley Mrs Elf were just gorgeous. The surroundings in the cafe may not be quite as plush as other garden centres in the chain but the warmth and attitude of the team more than make up for that.This morning I called the garden centre as unfortunately the gift my little boy was given turned out to have a piece missing. It was a puzzle that we enjoyed completing but at the end you can imagine my 3 year old was a bit upset that we were one piece short. I called to explain and got straight through to a man called John. He was fantastic, apologised profusely and asked if it would be convenient for me to come back. I went in this afternoon, was looked after immediately and left with a replacement puzzle that my son was delighted with. He passed on his managers apologies and couldnt have done more to make me feel valued as a customer.All too often people give poor service and you are left feeling that you have been an inconvenience. Today (and yesterday) I witnessed the level of service that I think everyone should and I want to say thank you to the whole team for that.
Me, my brother and our parents came to the garden centre on the 22/11/2018, we was looking at the Christmas decorations. We was trying to get in the mood for Christmas since my Uncle died a month ago, but we couldnt look at the decorations because we was being followed by not just one worker but 4! It has completely put us off by coming back to the place, we was thinking of taking my niece and my Nan there to show them the beautiful stuff they have. It made us feel unwanted and uncomfortable!
Wide range of products many plants yellowing leaves and tired seems expensive and cafe cake was dried out like a bath sponge. Even knick knacks and toys all past their era. Hare Hatch miles better.
Well stocked garden centre, plants, furniture, lumber and stone. A wide range of indoor plants too. Also On site is a tropical fish shop, Cafe, solid wood furniture store, car wash, sundries section, hot tubs, car wash, pet shop, landscape companies and public toilets. If you like discounts Ive found indoors near the cafe, an area where theres often discounted stock for sale cheap.
This is one of the best Garden Centers. The selection of great value plants is outstanding. Quality of plants is excellent. There is also a huge selection of gardening rolls and accessories, not to speak of all the decorative items for everyday and also special seasonal occasions. The coffee/tea shop is a welcoming place to take a short break before browsing through all the goods again. Don't miss the pine and oak furniture shop. There are some real jewels to find and during sales bargains can be found. Very solid furniture and staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
